The player with no name or sponsor is actually Sam Fisk. He played last season for Sussex League Hassocks. While I was plesently suprised with how well he coped yesterday, it does go to show how desperate things have got. We’re now so stretched that we’re struggling to put out a team. 2 of the starters play in the under 18’s, 4 were loan players and only 4 of the players that started yesterday (Banks, former Chelsea, Charlton and Bolton man Anthony Barness, Chris Breach and Micheal Standing) were in the first-team squad at the start of the year, with one more first-teamer on the bench.

it’s very very tough to watch but I for one am going to see this through and look forward to some better times.

This is all down to the man in your picture,he conned his way into the club with false promises and now keeps his job as he seems to have some hold over the board. The club is dead with those who cared driven out as they showed him up for the conman that he is.Lewes FC R.I.P.

We’re not responsible for Tomi Ameobi! We just had a loan of him earlier in the season, when we were still rubbish. Doncaster remain his parent club. He didn’t look Football League standard to us; maybe he’s finding his level.

Good luck to the Lewes fans – it’s a bizarre state of affairs there for sure.
