    Great to read this article. It’s clearly only a matter of time before City’s money reaps a trophy or two. The most important step for them so far looks, of course, to be their likely Champions League qualification. Will Ferguson fancy trying to keep United on their perch if, talking league titles, he succeeds in knocking Liverpool off theirs finally this season? That might be a battle for a younger, more Portuguese man – although maybe not the obvious one.
