    i’m the founder of afc liverpool and want to make clear that the formation of afc liverpool was never a response to the hicks/gillett issue but a response to high premiership prices.

    nothing has been watered down or altered on this as we have made pains from the outset to make clear that our formation is not anything to do with ownership, but about pricing and accessibility in the game generally.

    Aren’t the two inextricably linked, no matter how much you protest?

    Speculative owners seeking, even needing in the current climate, a quick profit (like Gillett and Hicks and others) are one of the latest and biggest causes of such high-prices and lack of accessibility.
