    Actually, there was an international match worth looking forward to this weekend, and one with excitement far beyond expectations: the Wales/England under-21 match tonight. England won 3-2, but I’m not absolutely sure that that’s the end of it. Wales finished top of a group containing France and Romania, beating the former 4-2 at home, and the latter 3-0 away, having drawn 1-1 at home a few weeks earlier when they decided to call in their young full internationals, which they were unable to do for the victory in Bucharest. The return at Pride Park on Tuesday could be a cracker.
