  1. Also Andy Gray was fired for a combination of things. He got a warning yesterday for his comments regarding Massey, but then the sack today when it came out that he’d made some inappropriate comments to Charlotte Jackson (a fellow Sky Sports presenter) back in December. That video is on YouTube as well.

    Would there even have been a debate had the comment been about race? Thought not. What does it say about (parts of) British society that it remains so acceptable to insult a woman that any criticism of such pathetic behaviour is painted as PC gone mad. And why do the apologists refer to the comments being made off air, as if that excuses them? Keep up the good work producing the only general footie website I read every day.

    Forgot to mention – I think the PGMO were absolutely wrong to withdraw Sian from last night’s match. Whenever her next match is, she will come under enormous scrutiny. Delaying that gives the wrong impression.
