Shearer and Linneker were no Lynham thats for sure – “I hear theres a football match on today – shall we watch it together?”.
I think there were probably a fair amount of english in the crowd, but from reading various fan blogs it seems that there is a curious camaradere between england and germany at the moment – lots of english were backing germany after we had been knocked out, and i think that was reciprocated in the german fans being supporting anyone-but-portugal.

Scolari made me chuckle though, not as much as the way i keep thinking of him as a “jizz sucking sweaty titted bastard” due to someone shouting out at him during england portugal, nor as much as christian ronaldo’s hard done by comments in the media.

Ricardo continues to amaze me with his penalty ability though. I like Baddiel & Skinners suggestion that we should have had David James doing *nothing* except practicing and researching penalties all tournament (well, he was never going to be no.1 choice for 120 minutes was he), and bring him on instead of carragher once it was going to go to pens.

Ronaldo is 21 now, and he left Portugal with 18. He played about 150 matches in England so far, more than in Portuguese Leage. We can say now is a product of English football. It’a amazing how do you took so long to see how naughty the boy is (or is it only bad losing?).

I wouldnt say its bad losing to highlight some shocking examples of portugal trying to cheat.
