Nice bit of writing and a very fair sumation of the game and our current situation. Especially liked the comment that “Craven Cottage remains, by some distance, the most civilised place to watch football in London. They are a London club without the perceived arrogance of Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham United”. Thank-you, we think so too.

Hull City have certainly proved they don’t need to be patronised, although even I have my doubts at the start of the season and asked will the tigers be relegated before they even start – it seemed even my glass was half empty! I’m tracking down the best commentaries of the games so far, enjoyed your write up. Shame all the analysis on TV says “Man U falling behind Chelsea and Liverpool”… yes, and Hull!
