The body of Kings Lynn Football Club is still warm, but the race is already on to secure the lease to The Walks and start the club afresh from the beginning of next season. While one of the interested parties offers a quick fix, though, the long term should be the supporters’ aim.

Watford Football Club is at the point of falling victim to a vicious power struggle that is now threatening its very existence. Can the protagonists be persuaded back from the brink, or is everybody concerned more interested in lining their own pockets than the future of the club itself?

The Championship is starting to open up in the same way that it has in previous seasons, and the chances are that even if Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion end up strolling back into the Premier League, the race for the play-offs might be as tight as ever.
Dean Ashton’s career is over at the age of just twenty-six. Tragedy though this is, he can at least reflect upon the fact that he made it in the first place, and that his career in the game doesn’t have to be completely over. This may end up being a new opportunity presenting itself.
