The 200% Podcast 61: A Chip Off The Old Bone

by | May 22, 2016

Over the course of this week, you may have noticed a couple of small changes to 200% brought about by Ian injuring himself last weekend, and this morning’s podcast marks this with a podcast on the subject of injury. As a contact sport, the ability of a player to find themselves in no fit state to play football has always had a significant bearing on the overall outcome of both matches and tournaments. Players tend not to get killed during matches any more – something that was a surprisingly regular occurrence more than a hundred years ago – but a bad injury can still wreck a playing career or change the course of a league season. Today’s podcast, then, has a top ten of the worst, what the true ingredients of a magic sponge should be, and a whole lot more.
